PACE (Parent & Carer/s Education Programme) Level 1 ASD Awareness training Webinar
This ASD seminar aims to provide you with information on an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and how it manifests in everyday life, alongside equipping you with practical advice and techniques to enable you to assist your child/young person in their development & support & mange any behaviours of concern.

You will have received a workbook along with your invite to the webinar. You will use this workbook during the webinar to help you personalise this training to your child/young person and highlight strategies and activities you can try at home, over a period of time, with your child/young person.

Following implementation of the strategies and advice provided at this PACE webinar, we would ask you to provide feedback to the Paediatric ASD service via a feedback form (sent out via email following the webinar). This form will ask questions regarding: your understanding of ASD, how it is impacting on your child/young person and the family as a whole and how you have implemented the strategies from the PACE Level 1 awareness webinar. This will help determine if any further help for you or your child/young person is required at this time

Many families will not require further help at this time as they are now equipped with practical advice and strategies provided at this PACE webinar. However we understand that as your young person grows and develops their needs may change. Therefore, The Paediatric ASD Service can be contacted again at any time in the future to help support you and your child/ young person, up until the age of 18. The Paediatric ASD service can be contact on 02825633777 (option 2) or via email on PaediatricAutismService@northerntrust.hscni.net
